¹⁷ “Behold, how ^(A)happy is the man whom God reproves,
So do not despise the ^(B)discipline of ^[a]the Almighty.
¹⁸ “For ^(C)He inflicts pain, and ^[b]gives relief;
He wounds, and His hands also heal.
¹⁹ “^[c]From six troubles ^(D)He will deliver you,
Even in seven ^(E)evil will not touch you.
